He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Toman and Margaret Matusick Toman; and his brother Stephen. He is survived by: his siblings, Regina Pokrifka and Michael Toman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great-great grand nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edward's name can be given to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
