She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman L. Womer and Barbara E. Ferguson Womer; and her brothers, David, Charles and Norman "Cork" Womer.

She is survived by: her spouse Dean N. Shuey; and her sisters, Laura Mae Metzger of State College and Norma Jean Carlson of Snow Shoe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
