James Douglas Ongley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas Ongley of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Ongley; and his siblings, Cathy Slocum and Alan Ongley. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Ongley (Dean) of Grand Valley; his significant other Judi Ongley (Leach); his children, Jacob Ongley (Jamie) of Pleasantville and Jeni Ongley of Pleasantville; his grandchildren, Carson (Caleb Ongley) and Jim; and his sisters, Sandi Kemp (Rick) of Grand Valley, Sue Ongley of Pleasantville, Judy Paulich (John) of Pleasantville and Gayle Beers (Randy) of Grand Valley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. (303 N Washington St, Titusville, PA 16354). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasantville Free Methodist (260 Third St, Pleasantville, PA 16341).
