Ruth Anthony Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2021, at the age of 82, Ruth Anthony of Plumville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rev. Edward I. and Marian A. Peters; her husband John Richard Anthony; her children, Cheryl Means (Stephen) of Punxsutawney, Douglas Anthony (Mary Lu) of Garner, NC, Marsha Barisano (Donald) of Glastonbury, CT and Laura Stewart (Carl) of Plumville; her grandchildren, Nichole Ansinger (Mike), Taylor, Kyle (Shayla), Eric Anthony, Jonathan (Charlotte), Anthony Barisano, Jordan, Garrett and Alicia Stewart; her great grandchildren, Ava, Dayne Means, Joseph, Bryce, Jorja, Odin, Otto Ansinger and Arya; and her brothers, Lee Peters (Patricia), David Peters (Joy) and John Peters (Gale). She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren.
The family requests that visitors wear masks for the comfort and safety of all.
In lieu of flowers (although Ruth's allergies are no longer an issue!) contributions can be made in Ruth's name to Presbyterian Church of Plumville, Hospice 365 or a charity of your choice.
