He was predeceased by : his brother Timmy Cost; and his stepfather Rev. Lee Roy Edgell. He is survived by : his mothers, Clara Edgell (Faulknier) of Maidsville and Nora Cost of Charlestown, W. V; his daughters, Kelsey Williams (Ryan) and Brittara Cost; his children-in-law, Robert, Eugenia Cost of Fairmont, Lee Edgell, Jr. and Samantha of Point Marion; and his sister Tammy Jeffries (Dennis) of Stephens City. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two brothers.
