He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Lamont and Mary A. Kaziska Lamont; and his brother Michael A. Lamont. He is survived by: his wife Vivian L. Sherwood; his daughter Rebecca A. Lamont of Port Allegany; his grandchildren, Courtney R. Sherwood of Buffalo, NY, Briana N. Sherwood of Salamanca, NY and Colton J. Sherwood of Port Allegany; and his siblings, Thomas E. Lamont (Dorothy) of Port Allegany, Rodney M. Lamont (Cindy) of Warren, PA, Donna J. Shaw (Barry) of Portville, NY and Ella N. Himes of Emporium.
