He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dingfelder; his children, David R. Merriman, Jr. (Debi) of Stephenson, VA, Gary A. Merriman (Jennifer) of Mooresville, NC, Jeffrey L. Merriman of Corning, NY, Darlene S. Davis (Bob) of Bradford and Susan L. Amidon (Stacey) of Oswayo, PA; and his sister Ruthie Galindo (Noel) of Larkspur, CO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children.
