He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd L. Pyle and R. Rush Pyle of Nevada; and his sister Carolyn Edsall. He is survived by : his wife Diane Gildersleeve; his daughters, Amy Mickle (Ronald) of Port Allegany, Julie Childs of Lancaster, PA and Molly Heraty (Patrick) of Green Castle, PA; his grandchildren, Brian Mickle (Ellen), Kyley Anderson (Mike), Juanita, Donald Childs, Madeline Brook (Brian) and Sean Heraty; his great grandchildren, Otto Mickle and Micah Brook; and his brother Douglas L. Pyle of Frankfort, KY..
