Hammond of Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, born in Troupsburg, New York, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim F. Hammond and Margariet M. Burton Hammond; his wife Dorothy I. Trimm; and his siblings, Robert B., John M., Franklin D. Hammond and Reita Hart.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard L. Hammond (Dawn) of Eldred, Michael J. Hammond of Coudersport, Richard T. Hammond (Charlene) of Greensburg, PA, Thomas A. Hammond of Austin, Dean M. Hammond (Amy) of Troupsburg, NY, Sally A. VanGorder of Port Allegany, Nancy M. Hagg (Gary) of Smethport, Laura L. Elliott of Port Allegany and Susan I. Herbert (Mark) of Port Allegany; and his siblings, James L. Hammond of Port Allegany, Donald E. Hammond (Linda) of Williamsport, Shirley J. Redmond of Burtville, Sarah M. Hammond of Port Allegany and Joyce A. Moore of Port Allegany. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
