She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Chandler and Lula S. Smith Chandler; her husband Howard; her son Lawrence A. Amell; and her siblings, Daryl Chandler, Lawrence Chandler, Donna Minard, Christine Hardes, Beatrice Chandler and Lois Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Gilbert E. Amell, Keith A. Amell, Merita L. Greenleaf of Orlando and Kathy L. Amell of Eldred; her stepdaughter Jackie Kaples (Dave) of Virginia; and her sister Joyce M. Seeley of Port Allegany.
