With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie R. (Cordwell) Zearfoss (Portage, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas R. Cordwell and Bessie Cordwell (Wills); her husband James H. Zearfoss; her sons, James J. and Alan W. Zearfoss; her granddaughter Amanda Weigle; and her siblings, Leroy Cordwell, Pearl Maul and Lillian Wagner.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Maul (Paul) of Portage, PA and George Zearfoss (Becky) of Nanty Glo, PA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers family ask contributions be made to First Lutheran Church, Portage, PA.
