Ronald Swires Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 81, Ronald Swires Sr. of Portage, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis C. Swires and Rachael M. Swires (Brown); his wife Kathryn Dolores "Petie" Swires (Pyo); his granddaughter Kathryn Chrystiline Swires; his siblings, Francis "Sonny" Swires and Shirley Krug; his children, Ronald R. Swires, Jr. (Sharon), Anna Swires, Melissa "Missy" Burkett (John Burkett, Jr.), Onnalinda and Aaron Swires (Amanda) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jamie Grove, Kayla, Brad Rousell, Kyler, KayDee Swires, Harry, Chase Swires, Brianna, Jordan, Ella Burkett and Madison Cornell; his great grandchildren, Oliver Grove and Evelyn Rousell; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Swires (Glasgow) and Jane Pyo (Lysic). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Trinity U.M. Church.
