It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Louise (Hamel) Harp Ashworth (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William I. Ashworth, Jr.; her parents, Howard Hamel and Elizabeth Hamel (Bartman); her stepson William Ashworth, III; and her sister Hazel Bicer.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Harp (Sharon), James Harp (Esther) and Exeter Twp; her stepdaughter Judith Plasco of Royersford, PA; her sisters, Mildred Ginder and Joan Griffith; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy Ashworth. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.
