He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Hatfield and Gertrude A. Hatfield (Edwards); and his brother Thomas E. Hatfield. He is survived by: his children, Eugene J. Hatfield (Jayne, N. Coventry), James L. Hatfield (Gwen, Douglassville) and Deborah R. (Nick D'Orsaneo, Elverson); and his sister Elaine (Robert Diener, Pottstown).
