He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Rightnour and Florence G. Rightnour (Baker); his son Douglas J. Rightnour, Jr.; and his sister Nancy Ewing. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Rightnour (Koons); his children, Tobi Rightnour, Melinda L. Tuozzo (Rick) and Tracy L. Levengood; his brother Charles Rightnour; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Rightnour (Lord). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
