She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Peiffer; her parents, William Rice and Ruth Rice (Horning); and her sisters, Evelyn Halteman and Dorothy Traister.
She is survived by: her children, Mark A. Peiffer (Dawn), Jon L. Peiffer (Denise), Melanie A. (late Frank Fiore) and Julie A. (Todd Dawson) of Wagontown, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
