He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Jean McMenamin (McAllister). He is survived by: his children, Jeannine E. Will (Andrew) of Gilbertsville, Sean P. McMenamin (Jennifer) of Philadelphia and Erin T. Groff (Harry) of Pottstown; his grandchildren, Donovan Joseph Will, Molly Elizabeth Will and Leyana Elizabeth Groff; his siblings, Elizabeth McMenamin of Philadelphia, Marie Conners (late Ronald Conners) of New Jersey, Daniel McMenamin (Anne) of New Jersey, Terry McMenamin (Janet) of Gilbertsville and Francis McMenamin of Philadelphia; and his sister-in-law Janice McMenamin (late James McMenamin).

Due to the Worldwide Pandemic, John's Mass of Christian Burial will be limited to his family but will be live-streamed for those unable to attend.
