He was predeceased by: his father Stewart Ray Schaeffer; and his son Matthew Schaeffer. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann Schaeffer (Gehris); his children, Brandon Schaeffer (Jasmine Forbes) and Katrina Schaeffer (Michael Bailey); his siblings, Ray Schaeffer (Gina) and Denise Schaeffer; and his friend Kathy Scully.
