She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Cook; and her parents, Michael Shala and Amelia Shala (Zelinsky). She is survived by: her children, Robin Eugene Cook, Cindy (Harold "Donnie" Barto Jr) and Cheryl Stewart (Matt Thomas); and her brother Albert Shala. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
