He is survived by: his parents, Richard J. Yochem, Sr. and Carol A. Yochem (Kuren); his children, Rebecca Marie Yochem and Lance Austin Yochem; the mother of his children Sandra Jean Yochem; his siblings, James M. Yochem and Karen Ann Leach; and his nieces and nephews, Carlyne Grace Yochem, Rhys Richard Yochem, Matthew Joseph Leach, Jessica Sara Leach and Lauren Kathryn Leach.
In lieu of flowers, the family is starting a scholarship in his name at the University of Central Florida, his alma mater.
