He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Mitz and Rozalia Mitz (Gulen). He is survived by: his son Roman W. Mitz, Jr. (Kelli Ireland) of Pittsburgh; his granddaughters, Torrin Ireland Mitz of Pittsburgh and Jamie Pachuta-Ireland of Philadelphia; his brother Andrew Mitz of Birdsboro; and his former wife Ewa Mitz of Pittsburgh.
