She was predeceased by : her parents, Bshara Thomas and Wadia Ferhat Thomas; her husband John J. Callahan, Sr.; her daughter Mary Ellen Callahan; and her sisters, Madelyn Sophy, Cecelia Pellish (Aloysius Thomas), Louise Koury and Ruth Spece.

She is survived by : her children, Nancy Hanson (Patrick) of Milltown, NJ, Jacqueline Kimmel (David), Sara Jane Givler (George) and John J. Callahan, Jr. (Donna). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Anne be made to York Terrace Activities Fund 2401 W. Market St. Pottsville, PA 17901.

“To our Cousins Best memories from half a century ago was going to Moms home town and staying at Aunt Anne & Uncle Jack's. during summer vacation. Aunt Anne was big deal in a small package a dynamo, raising a family of overachievers and working non-stop, superhuman might explain being almost 100 years old before she decided to move to the kingdom of Heaven. No doubt she's with Uncle Jack & all of the sisters. We haven't been to Pottsville in years but Aunt Anne lives in all of us forever. Joe K”
