Anthony J. Kochol Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony J. Kochol of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Anthony J. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Sr. Kochol and Elizabeth M. Schargo Kochol; his wife Josephine Fanelli Kochol; and his siblings, Joseph Kochol and Rosalie Imschweiler.
He is survived by: his daughter Lucilla Kochol; and his sister Mary Anna Hazok. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (913 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 2001 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901.
