He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bowman and Arlene Bowman; and his sister Ruth Readinger. He is survived by: his children, Angel Vidal (Bud), Gayle Bowman, Bernard Bowman and AaronBowman (Linda); his stepchildren, Patrick Murphy (Michelle), Tina Schaeffer (John) and David Plappert (Dorry); and his siblings, Beverly Bowman, Sherry Challenger (Glen), Peggy Schaeffer and Darrin Bowman (Gale). He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1 N. Front St. St. Clair, PA 17970.
