He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Thomas and Clara Violet Hughes (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Hughes (Kelly); his children, Michelle R. Shnayer-Figie of Woodbridge, VA and James A. Hughes of Maidencreek Township; his grandchildren, Christopher S. Shnayer (Latisha Daley), James A. Hughes, Jr., Erica L. Figie and Alexander J. Figie; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Dyamond, Noah and Shavannah; and his siblings, Anthony T. Hughes of Schuylkill Haven and Eva L. Stone (Hughes) of Pottsville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
