We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2021, at the age of 94, Cecelia C. Muench of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Catsampas and Ethel Catsampas (Capetanakis); her spouse Russell E. Muench Jr.; and her sister Ethel. She is survived by: her children, Kristina Pope, Stephen D Muench and Peter J Muench (Sandra) of Basel, Switzerland; her grandchildren, Robin Pope of Charleston, SC, Ben Pope (Meghan) of Bel Air, MD, Nicholas Muench of Pottsville, Christopher Muench of Pottsville and Grace Muench of Pottsville; and her great grandchild Dylan Pope of Bel Air, MD..
In honor of Celie, the family would prefer donations be made in her memory to one of the following organizations: Red Creek Wildlife Center, Schuylkill Haven, Hillside SPCA, Pottsville, Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA Pine Grove, or Trinity Episcopal Church in Pottsville.
