She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gardner and Marian Germeroth Gardner; her husband Kenneth L. Umbenhauer; and her son Edward Robert Martin. She is survived by: her children, Donna Martin (Thomas Bracey, Jr.) of Pottsville, Linda Hoppes (George "Buster" Truscott) of Pottsville, Kimberly Martin (Jeffrey Greenberg) of Pottsville, Carl Martin Jr. of Pottsville, Dawn Fidler (Donald Seifert) of Friedensburg and Kenneth "Bud" Umbenhauer (Nora Egan) of Pine Grove; and her sisters, Linda Smith, Jacquelin Sarge and Karen Strawbridge. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
