He is survived by: his wife Joann Eckert (James); his daughter Michele; his close friends, Loren Sturchio of Port Carbon, Kristine Thomas of Pottsville, Kathy Doran of Pottsville and Kelly Eckert of Pottsville; his sons, David (Margaret Eckert) of Pottsville and Robert Eckert of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Jason Schuster (Amanda), Michael Schuster (Nina), David Schuster (Jennifer), Brian, Jennifer, John, Angela Eckert, LeighAnn Thomas, Keith Thomas (Bonnie), Cody Thomas, Joseph Moran, Tiffany Doran, Samantha Poda and Olivia Eckert; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Reagan, Nolan, Skyler, Seth, Isabella, Olivia and Tucker; and his siblings, Nancy Neubling of Maryland, Darlene Faust of Auburn and Clarence Eckert of Pottsville. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
