We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 81, Edward R. Averill of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward J. Averill and Edith Sands Averill. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Hudock Averill; his children, Lori Oler (Mike) and Edward "Ted" Averill; his granddaughters, Rachel and Lauren Oler; and his brother Robert Averill of Cape Coral, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Ed be made to St. John Memorial Fund, 913 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901.
