With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Kunkel of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara E. Seltzer (Sterner) and Clarence J. Seltzer; her husband Morton H. Kunkel; and her daughter Bonnie Schrader (Barry). She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Sterner (Mark) and Susan Stein (James); her grandchild Kile Sterner; and her close friends, Taylor Dreisbach, Madison Sterner, Melanie, Tanya, Kristen, Emily and Molly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (116 S Liberty St, Orwigsburg, PA 17961). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
