She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frankenstein and Eleanor Frankenstein (Edden); her husband Earl J. Murphy; her son David Murphy; her son-in-law Daniel Baskin; and her siblings, William Frankenstein, Joseph Frantz, Eleanor Melinchock, Hazel Ackalusky and Estelle Madara.
She is survived by: her children, Steven, Kevin Murphy, Karen Baskin, Janice (Jay Johnston) and Michele (Richard Fries); and her sisters, Marie Caruano and Ruth Smigo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick's Parish, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
