He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Metz and Isabel Hastings Metz; his brother Gregory; and his sister-in-law Connie Metz. He is survived by: his niece Amber (Jeremy Hockenberry) of Beaver Springs; his great-nephew Tyler Hockenberry; and his extended family, Adam and Lilly Yordy of Pine Grove.
