It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Elrod of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stepen and Anna Stepen (Hulock); her husband Kenneth W. Elrod, Sr.; and her siblings, Jim Stepen and Doreen Berger.

She is survived by: her children, Denise Miles (Barry), Danielle Coldwell (Dan), Melissa Barrett (Robert J.) and Kenneth W. Elrod, Jr. (Angela) of Charolette, NC; her grandchildren, Addison Miles, Taylor Brigade, Brandon Elrod (Kara Krammes), Kirsten Wentzel (Corey Sabol), Zachary Wentzel, Mallory Wentzel, Kenny Elrod III and Owen Elrod; her great grandchildren, Makayla and Connor Elrod; and her brother Joseph Stepen. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
