She was predeceased by: her mother Gwennie Allen (Snowell); and her husband James Beard. She is survived by: her children, Patricia L. Watford (Lonnie) of St. Clair and Warren J. Beard (Jacqueline) of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, James Warren Beard and Markita Scott; and her sisters, Anna Coleman (Alvin) and Brenda Case (late John). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and cousins.
