She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. McCaffrey and Vera Lecher McCaffrey; her husband Charles C. "Sonny" Boyer; her son James Boyer; and her siblings, Agatha McCarron and Thomas McCaffrey.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Boyer and David Boyer; and her grandson James Boyer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family would prefer remembrance in the form of contributions in memory of Virgina be made to St. Joseph Center for.
