He is survived by: his children, Lynn McGowan of Jacksonville, FL, Michael Thornburg (Debra), Exeter, David Thornburg (Sandy), Flying Hills and Daniel Thornburg of Carson, CA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren nieces and nephew.
