Annabelle Certo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annabelle Certo of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Clement McCluskey and Maude Mae McCluskey (Bauer); her husband Ernest Certo Sr.; and her brothers, Paul and Clement McCluskey.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Certo Jr. (Barb) of Punxsutawney and Gary Certo (Karen) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Lisa Certo-Card (Greg), Chris Certo (Jessie), Carrie Certo (Craig), Melanie Gavin (Michael) and Diane Certo; her great grandchildren, Vinny Certo, Aubin Kotewicz, Alex Card, Dominic Certo, Nathan Card, Caydin Kotewicz, Keane Gavin and Donovan Gavin; and her sister Marjorie Polito of Warren, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church (616 W Mahoning St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767).
