Thelma Haag Obituary
The memory of Thelma Haag of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John Beresnyak and Winona Gladys Beresnyak (Barrett); her husband Bob; her son Kenny Haag; her granddaughter Ashlee Haag; and her brother Cyrus Bresnock.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Allen "Grover" Haag (Monica) of Punxsutawney, William Joseph Haag (Tammy) of Punxsutawney and Edward Haag (Sharon) of Middlesex; her daughter-in-law Lisa Haag-Smith; her grandchildren, Robert Haag III (Carrie), Brian Haag, Trista Pooley (Tom), Phillip Lewis, Jesse Haag (Kaeley), Cory Haag, Cheriee Tom (Buddy), Deven Haag, Jayden, Brooklyn, Gavin Pooley, Lillian Haag, Nathaniel, Madilyn, Matthew, Jackson and Harlee Tom; and her siblings, Robert Bresnock of Home, Helen Moore and Nancy Rosenberger (Bob) of Delaware. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oliveburg Presbyterian Church (208 Spring Rd, Oliveburg, PA 15764).
Memorial donations may be made in Thelma's memory to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Oliver Township Fire Company.
