He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lynn Derr (Chobot); his parents, Byard Aaron, Sr. and Patricia Derr (Wanner); his sons, William Byard Derr and Mathew Adam Derr; his sister Tami Dakin; and his niece Elizabeth Dakin.

Call from 4:00-5:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund for Byard's two sons, checks should be made payable to Brenda Derr and sent to the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
