She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Mary (McElroy); and her sister Maryanne Hondros. She is survived by: her husband Robert M. "Rob" Schmidt; her aunt Helen; her uncle Francis Eells; her sons, Michael Douglas, Edward Francis and Thomas Gustave; her siblings, Stephen, Michael, Eddie, Tommy, Wally and Millie; and her brother-in-law Jim Hondros. She is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins.
