He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Lee Gates (Rodney) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Samuel L. Derstine of Muncy, PA, Jacob "Michael" Derstine (Yvonne) of Chincoteague Island, VA and Eric "Scott" Derstine (Jane) of Polk City, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
