With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia W. Gray of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Virginia left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Augustus Winfield and Mary Louise Winfield (Jones); her former husband Jack D. Dowdy; and her siblings, Anne Binglee Winfield and John Scott Winfield.
She is survived by: her husband A. Samuel Gray; her daughter Jessica Kirkman (Tommy); her stepchildren, Rick Gray (Wendy), Debra Clark (Kenneth) and David Gray (Robin); her sister Gloria Windley (Jay); and her sister-in-law Glenda Winfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (308 Possum Park Rd, Newark, DE 19711). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
