She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund J. Gajewski; her parents, Harry Wentzel and Anna Wentzel (Kugler); her grandchildren, Jonathan M. Leuchak and Rebecca Leuchak; and her brothers, H. Gordon and Frederick Wentzel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy A. Readinger (Robert) of Exeter Township, Sharon H. Leuchak (Nicholas) of Minden, Nevada, Donna M. Waldman (Peter) of Exeter Township and Joette E. Lakis (Rollin) of Los Alamos; her grandchildren, Amanda Readinger, Jenna Ricks, Isabelle Lakis and Allison Lakis; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Lea, Cameron and Alicia.
She knitted more than 3600 hats for newborn charity.
