Betty Schannauer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Schannauer in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Koenig and Mable Koenig (Schnable); her husbands, LeRoy B. Schannauer and Sprint; and her siblings, Leonard, Leon, Clayton, Charles Koenig and Myrtle Sobjak.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Boas (James Haller) of Denver, Karen Richie of Kenosha, WI, LeRoy Jr. (Kristine Schannauer) of Gouglersville and Steve (Martina Schannauer) of Whitehall; her grandchildren, Matthew J. (Kelly), Jonathan C. Richie, Joshua W. Hetzel (Elizabeth), Clayton, Jacob, Isaac, Wyatt, Sarah and Rachel Schannauer; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Richie and Benjamin Richie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
