He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Burns and Celia S. Burns-Shuman (Hain). He is survived by: his son Chad F. (Jamie Lee); his grandsons, Jordon J. and Dylan J. Burns; his siblings, Michael Y. (Laura) of Tuscan and Patricia J. Ritter (Burns) of Tuscan; and his siblings' children, Tammy Ritter, Lisa Ritter, Gregory Burns, Steven Burns and Erin Kaplan.
