He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tracie, Chad (Brittany), Patrick (Rose) and James; his close friends, Scarlett, David (Amanda), Joseph (Emily), Carissa, Josh, Branden, Tyler, Sasha, Michael II and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Chace, Hunter, Savanah, Lily, Blake, Zoey, Nora, Parker, Lucas, Alexis, Austin, Aubree, Tymmi and Gabriella; his brother James D. Runkel; and his nephews, James and Daniel.
