He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Schlegel and Dorothy Schlegel (Rohrbach); and his brother Richard A. Schlegel. He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Hower. He is also survived by four children, their spouses, and six grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
