He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Moyer Sr. and Minnie Moyer (DeTurk); and his son Scott Moyer. He is survived by: his wife Joan Moyer (Eiche); his daughters, Vicki Angstadt (late Robert Angstadt), Kim Olson (Michael Olson) and Lori Hartman (Todd Hartman); his grandchildren, Jared, Joni Angstadt, Jenifer Davis, Aubree (Jason Pylypczuk), Vann Olson and Kalee Jones (Austin Jones); and his great grandchildren, Adley and Eva.
