He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Klopp (Morgan) and Russell Klopp; his sons, Steven B., Richard A. and Herbert; and his sister Eleanor Schultz.

He is survived by: his wife Helen E. Klopp (Ebling); his daughter Sandra L. (Kevin Hartberger) of Temple; and his grandchildren, Lana, Jason, Michael, David and Jake.

After retiring, he worked for The Home Depot, Wyomissing, for 23 years, last working earlier this year prior to the pandemic.
