He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Ann Weiss (Esser); his parents, Hoyt Franklin Weiss, Sr. and Mamie Louise Weiss (Roth); and his siblings, Eleanor Daubert, Faye Dietrich, Marie Mirenna, John Weiss, Barbara Weiss and Robert Weiss.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Robert M. Fogelman) of Reading, Cheryl "Sherry" Ann (James M. Beissel) of Lessport and Christine Louise (Steven Orth) of Mohrsville; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Amy, Matthew, Katie, Chris, Jordan, Brittany, Emily and Michael. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
